Η Street Painting Team συναντά τους  BATALA  ( Χτύπα εκεί )

Οι BATALA είναι μια διεθνής μουσική μπάντα  που παίζει ρυθμούς samba reggae, μουσική που προέρχεται από το Salvador της Bahia, στη βορειοανατολική Βραζιλία.

Ιδρυτής της μπάντας είναι ο Giba Goncalves, κρουστός από την Μπαΐα, ο οποίος ξεκίνησε τους Batala το 1997 στο Παρίσι, όπου διέμενε και σπούδαζε Σύνθεση και Μπάσο στο Ωδείο του Παρισιού.

Από το Παρίσι οι BATALA εξαπλώθηκαν και σε άλλες  πόλεις  της Γαλλίας, στο Βέλγιο, στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο, στην Ισπανία, στην Αφρική, στην Αυστραλία, στις ΗΠΑ, κ.λ.π.

Είχαμε τη χαρά να συναντήσουμε το Γλύπτη Σπύρο Στεφανάκη , του οποίου το έργο στολίζει εδώ και χρόνια  τα Μάταλα της  Κρήτης  .Το ΔΕΝΤΡΟ  που στέκει αγέρωχο αγναντεύοντας  τις ιστορικές σπηλιές  αυτού του μοναδικού οικισμού.

Ο Spike69 γεννήθηκε στο Παρίσι το 1982. Πλέον ζει μόνιμα στην Ελλάδα και είναι ενεργός Ράπερ και Γκραφίτι καλλιτέχνης από το 1996 και μαζί με αυτόν η ιδέα του Fullcolor.gr και το Crew του BUNS.

To FULLCOLOR.GR είναι το πρώτο αντιπροσωπευτικό σάιτ του Ελληνικού Γκραφίτι  το οποίο περιέχει  Γκραφίτι και mp3 μουσικές Ραπ.  Ξεκίνησε την λειτουργία του το 2001 με την αρχική ονομασία www.spikesixtyniner.com και το 2003 πήρε την τελική ονομασία FULLCOLOR.GR.

Πρόσωπα και χρώματα !! Μάταλα Street Painting 2019

H Street Painting Team ήταν στο φετινό Matala Street Painting.

Για πρώτη φορά μετά από 8 χρόνια η ομάδα μας είχε την ευκαιρία να βρεθεί και να συμμετέχει στη φετινή γιορτή των χρωμάτων όχι σαν Διοργάνωση αλλά είχαμε την χαρά να το ζήσουμε από μέσα σαν θεατές και συμμετέχοντες. Με αφορμή αυτό, είχαμε λοιπόν την ευκαιρία να ζωγραφίσουμε αλλά και να γνωρίσουμε λίγο καλύτερα κάποια από τα πρόσωπα που συμμετείχαν φέτος αλλά και προηγούμενες χρονιές στην διοργάνωση να ζωγραφίζουν την άσφαλτο , είτε επαγγελματίες είτε χομπίστες , παιδιά και ενήλικες....

Ο PUPET πρόκειται να ζωγραφίσει έναν τοίχο 12 μέτρων με το ιδιαίτερο στυλ του. Οι ημερομηνίες 10 έως 15 Ιουνίου 2019, όπου και θα ολοκληρώνετε το έργο, ο PUPET θα παρουσιάσει παράλληλα την προσωπική του έκθεση ζωγραφικής στον πολυχώρο του ATELIE. 7- 13 /6/ 2019

Τι  κοινό έχει η τέχνη του δρόμου στην Αθήνα του 2019, με την τέχνη του δρόμου στην Ισλανδία και στο Βερολίνο?

Πώς ένας καλλιτέχνης του δρόμου μπορεί να διεκδικήσει την διαμονή του  σε όποια χώρα του κόσμου επιθυμεί κάνοντας αυτό που αγαπάει?

Η Ισλανδή καλλιτέχνης Sara Riel είναι από τις  λίγες  γυναίκες  στο χώρο  της mural art και από τους πρώτους καλλιτέχνες, τους οποίους έφεραν μια νεότερη γενιά ανθρώπων στην τέχνη του δρόμου της Ισλανδίας, πέρα από τα καθιερωμένα στυλ  γκράφιτι της Νέας Υόρκης. 

Την συναντήσαμε στην Αθήνα  όπου και κατοικεί εδώ και  λίγους  μήνες.

 Icelandic artist Sarah Riel is one of the few women in the field of mural art and one of the first artists who brought a younger generation of people to the street art of Iceland, beyond the established New York graffiti style. We met her in Athens where  she lives for a few months.

MEET THE ARTIST is one of the new projects by Street Painting Team for 2019.

As we have been on the road since 2011, we have been able to create many collaborations and friendships with street artists, as well as to organize a variety of events.

MEET THE ARTIST is a Blogspot that we have created beyond our own actions, has the pleasure of hosting stories and interviews of street artists,as well as events or actions related to it.

Everyday people who are talented but are so unique, whether professionals or amateurs, they share a piece of their soul and their work with Street Painting Team. By learning a little better our fellow men, we through this action become more and more richly emotionally both on a personal level and as an artistic group.

Street Photography, Juggler, Performin, Writing, Painting, Dance, Theater, Music and more that unite us and make us feel creative and happy. We hope all of you, who you identify with our own beliefs, share these stories with us.

 We are in the difficult position to announce, that we will not organize the painting on the street (MATALA STREET PAINTING) for 2019, which has been taking part in Matala in Crete for the last eight years.We created this event with much love and with more love and sense of responsibility,  we decided that, for us this particular event for now, it came to an end.
