MEET THE ARTIST is one of the new projects by Street Painting Team for 2019.

As we have been on the road since 2011, we have been able to create many collaborations and friendships with street artists, as well as to organize a variety of events.

MEET THE ARTIST is a Blogspot that we have created beyond our own actions, has the pleasure of hosting stories and interviews of street artists,as well as events or actions related to it.

Everyday people who are talented but are so unique, whether professionals or amateurs, they share a piece of their soul and their work with Street Painting Team. By learning a little better our fellow men, we through this action become more and more richly emotionally both on a personal level and as an artistic group.

Street Photography, Juggler, Performin, Writing, Painting, Dance, Theater, Music and more that unite us and make us feel creative and happy. We hope all of you, who you identify with our own beliefs, share these stories with us.

 We are in the difficult position to announce, that we will not organize the painting on the street (MATALA STREET PAINTING) for 2019, which has been taking part in Matala in Crete for the last eight years.We created this event with much love and with more love and sense of responsibility,  we decided that, for us this particular event for now, it came to an end.

WORLD STREET FOOD PARTY 2016

The WORLD STREET FOOD PARTY is an independent group initiative, for the second time will take place in the main street of Matala. Hosted by MERMAID CAFE and JUSTIN'S CAFE-BAR.In a place where coexist people of all countries, there is no better way to know each other by sharing our food.Flavors and colors, friends of cooking and creation are invited to offer to our common table a traditional recipe of the country you love or come from.You will also have the opportunity to try flavors from other countries and get to know each other better, through cooking and sharing.
