“Matala Street Painting” formally joined as pre festival event of Matala Festival In 2012
The first Matala Street Painting ,was not as big as an event, as we did not even think of promoting it more.
The fact is that we managed to do something so beautiful that it was not unnoticed by the inhabitants of the Community and by the then Mayor of Phaistos and her colleagues.
In 2012, long before the preparation for the second Matala Festival, we came up with the proposal to organize the Matala Street Painting in the whole village as a prefectoral with the support (financial and moral) of the Municipality.
